Department of chemistry is engaged in providing highest level and quality academic education. The main focus of teaching and research in the department is centered on interdisciplinary themes which have gained wide attention and appreciation. This department features sufficient faculty with expertise in teaching and in research.
The chief mission of the department is to generate human resources of excellent quality, including engineers with high professional competence in interdisciplinary themes for national needs.
The department is equipped with state-of-art instruments known and required to carry out modern day engineering chemistry. The students are provided with comprehensive practical exposure to various instrumental techniques required for their syllabus.
The physics department has been an integral part of SSEC since 1997. The department of physicsforms a vibrant community of three faculty members specialized in different fields, apart from three supporting staff.
Our mission is to equip ourselves with the latest developments and skills in the science field and introduce them to our students. The department has highly capable, experienced and talented faculty crew who work beyond their powers towards the upliftment of the students.
The staffs of our department regularly attend seminars, conferences and workshop to broaden and improve their knowledge and skills. The performance of the student's is continuously evaluated through monthly tests, assignments, group discussion, and model examinations. Student's progress is regularly assessed and recorded.
The Department of Mathematics is one of the pioneering departments of this institution that offers assistance to many Engineering, Information Technology and management courses of our College. It is committed to the cost of quality education in mathematics that forms the basis for all the other fields and IT, a field growing in leaps and bounds. It provides a good mathematical foundation through high quality teaching. It is dedicated to the mission of providing honest, sincere principled and highly skilled professionals trained to adapt to the dynamic requirement of the IT industry.
A source of unlimited knowledge and information for students ever enthusiastic about learning.The library supports the Institution's program to study and research by offering access to a wide range of materials both printed and electronic. Library at VEC is having 1000 titles on Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Economics and Humanities covering almost every subject of computers, management and others with a total of 7000 volumes, along with 50 journals and many magazines of National and International repute.
