VITS Engineering College offers a four years (8 Semesters) degree program in Engineering in the following disciplines leading to the award of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech). The Total intake of the students is 240 per academic year. All programs are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Affiliated to Biju Patnaik University Of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, Orissa.

Note: There is a provision for lateral entry at the 3rd semester level for Diploma/ Polytechnic/ B.Sc students.
Admission to the B.Tech Program is through an entrance examination conducted by Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Govt. Of Orissa and All India Engineering Examination (AIEEE), Govt. of India.
