ABOUT VITS ENGINEERING COLLEGE
VITS Engineering College is a progressive institution in Orissa, setup to promote the highest standards of technical education in the state. The institution aims at molding a new breed of technocrats with the competitive edge to match both national and international standards.
VEC provides quality techno education in a highly disciplined environment at par with international standards special emphasis is given on development of students to empower them to stand up to the challenge of the present employment market of the world.
Vidyasagar Institute of Technical Studies (VEC), established in 2009, is located at Khurda and is spread over 40 acres of landscaped area within the corporation limit of Bhubaneswar. With a concrete plan to offer excellence in techno education and to meet the present status of industrial growth academicians and integellicia of VidyaSagar Charitable Trust formed VEC in the year 2001.It has got AICTE and Govt. of Orissa approval and is affiliated to Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT) Rourkela.
The college is located at Damanbhuin in a lush green atmosphere away from the bustle of the crowded city life. the glittering buildings of the college are beautified with appropriate avenue plants, amusement parks, yoga centre, playground etc.not to mention, the well equipped laboratories, classrooms and a well -stocked library which are the hall mark of excellence in education which are all in place.
Accordingly students are constantly motivated to apply the knowledge and skill.The students are sensitized and groomed to work in an environment characterized by changing technology and transnational mobility.

OBJECTIVES:
To establish state-of-the-art facilities for education and training and create higher levels of intellectual, innovative and creative abilities by developing infrastructure for advance research through most modern facilities along with national and global participation, to establish maintain and manage faculties and centers of excellence.
To organize, preserve and disseminate knowledge in the fields through all available latest teaching aids including distance learning and e-learning facilities of high order.
